MATT LOEB
Matt is the Principal of Optimal Performance Seekers. OPS works with select organizations and leaders to improve individual, team and board performance in support of business transformation, turnaround, or market repositioning.
Matt is a purpose-driven, strategic and digitally savvy executive and board director with over 30 years of global leadership experience. He previously served as CEO of ISACA where he led a comprehensive transformation of the organization resulting in membership growth of 35% and revenue increases of 81%. He also served as CEO of the Biomedical Engineering Society and SECURE (a cybersecurity enterprise), and concurrently held the positions of Staff Executive (CSO) at IEEE and Executive Director (CEO) of the IEEE Foundation. His breadth of professional experience spans strategy, technology, product development, global operations, marketing, public affairs, and fundraising.
Matt is a certified leadership and organizational performance coach by Rutgers University. He is also certified as a board director (NACD.DC) by the National Association of Corporate Directors and as an association executive (CAE) by the American Society of Association Executives. He serves on several public, nonprofit, and advisory boards. Matt holds a patent for the cybersecurity industry’s first enterprise-wide assessment tool providing measurable assurance to Boards and C-Suites on an organization’s resilience to cyberattacks.
Matt earned his MBA from the Edinburgh Business School. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives, a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and a Research Fellow of the MIT Center for Information Systems Research.
